I have always been a fan of good green smoothies, but it wasn’t until I’ve tried this green power smoothie that I truly fell in love with the power of the leafy greens. With just a few simple ingredients, this smoothie is packed full of nutrients and flavor, and bring me all the basics of the mediterranean diet. This recipe recipe includes spinach, kale, frozen banana, (alternate with other frozen fruit), almond milk (alternate with coconut milk), a ripe avocado and a dash of honey or maple syrup for sweetness. It’s the perfect combination of creamy and refreshing, making it the ideal breakfast or lunch option when you’re on the go.

 

What I love most about this green smoothie is how easy it is to make. Simply blend all the ingredients together with a high-powered blender until smooth and creamy, then pour into your favorite glass or travel cup ready for your morning routine. You can even make a big batch ahead of time and store individual portions in the freezer for later use. 

At the end of the day green smoothie recipes are full of fresh flavor and can be beneficial for maintaining a healthy diet, as they may help with lowering blood pressure and weight loss control, making them an ideal morning treat to add it into your regular breakfast.

Kale, spinach are my go to but any leafy greens would do including romain lettuce.

2. Fresh fruits to balance the greens

Blueberries, pineapple, apples, frozen mango chunks are great options to add natural sweetness and texture.
